A broken upload cannot break your site
Files are staged and checked first. The live site only switches once a complete release has passed validation, so a dropped connection changes nothing.

Rollback in under a second
Past releases are kept whole. Going back repoints the site; nothing is rebuilt and nothing is re-uploaded.

A preview URL for every release
Each deploy gets its own permanent address before you promote it. Send a client the real thing instead of a screenshot.

Custom domains, free HTTPS
Point a CNAME. The certificate is issued automatically and renewed without a reminder in your calendar. Included on the free tier.

Deploy tokens for CI
Scoped to a single site, so a leaked build secret cannot touch anything else you own. Revoking one takes effect on the next connection.

Worth knowing before you sign up, rather than after.
Databases
We serve files. If your site needs a database at request time, it is not a static site and this is not the right host for it.
Server-rendered pages
Rendering per request needs a running server. Small functions are coming, but they have not shipped and we will not imply otherwise.
Lock you in
Your site is a folder of files you uploaded. Copy it back down the same way and point your DNS elsewhere. That is the whole exit plan.
